We are a men’s open age Sunday League team, formed in 2019 and compete in the league and cups all around SE London/Kent. We are a traditional pub team whereby after matches we head to our pub!

Cycling

Let's go cycling

Many of our cyclists are from all parts of London including Bexley and South London with all kinds of backgrounds and riding a range of different bikes, the main focus is cycling and having fun.

We organise many social cycle rides, normally on weekends and sometimes in the summer evenings. We often have themed rides, where we visit places of interest, buildings etc, and learn about particular history of an area or have a ride with nice views/scenery and interesting. A food/Coffee/pub stop is common on our rides.
 
Always ensure that your bike is safe and fit for purpose before attending, Our rides are low risk rides that are tried and tested and all our rides are led by trained and competent leaders.  The rides are aimed to be fun and enjoyable social rides reaching back on time and not leaving anyone behind. Walx in Bexley at Danson Park

The WALX in Bexley Team are a delivery partner of Nordic Walking UK. WALX in Bexley offers an extensive programme of walks. Walks are delivered by trained NWUK instructors, community NWUK leaders and WALX Guides.

Running / Jogging

Bexley Park Run

Bexley parkrun is a 5km run – it’s you against the clock. It is held every Saturday at 9:00am.

The event takes place at Danson Park, Bexley. See Course page for more details. It’s free to join in but please register with parkrun before you first come along. 

We all run for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!

We’re friendly!

Please join us for a post run coffee at the Danson Stables every week. They open from 10am and provide a good range of food/drink. Indoor and outdoor seating available – weather dependant!

 

Group Fitness and HIIT Classes

MOVE2THEBEAT GROUP FITNESS runs daily fun and inclusive group exercise classes both online and in person within the local community of Bexleyheath, Plumstead and Welling.

Welling classes take place on Thursday evenings, Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings at St Mary’s Church in Marina Drive.  Classes currently available in Welling are Fatburners, Zumba Gold and Zumba fitness.

((BOUNCE)) is a full body HIIT workout performed on mini trampolines. Our FUN, FRIENDLY and FIERCE classes are for all abilities and run by Nic & Char – come & join us at Bexley Grammar!

Curve-Fit is run by two fitpros whose primary objective is to help everyone love and embrace their own individualities.  We aim to take the focus away from the number whether it be age, weight or dress size and to encourage a “healthy at every size” mentality.
 
We promise to provide a supportive, all inclusive, ego-free environment in all of our classes and ultimately hope that you will leave the class with a smile.  All of our programmes are designed to release stress, be fun filled and most importantly (in our opinion) to promote body confidence.
 
So whether you want to dance your way around the globe in Zumba, fight your way through 45 minutes of combat or strengthen and tone in our Ree balance classes then we’ve got the class for you.  Classes take place at Salvation Army, Welling High Street.
